About the Role
Based in the Matlock area, you will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day, between 7:00am and 7:00pm, 52 weeks per year.
As a Mobile Caretaker, you will play a key role in delivering high quality caretaking services, ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and well maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Waste management
- Opening and locking facilities (Key Holder responsibilities)
- Porterage duties
- Light decorating
- General maintenance tasks
- Cleaning duties
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Has experience in a similar role, such as caretaking, maintenance, trades, or general handyperson work
- Works well as part of a team and takes pride in delivering excellent service
- Can make effective decisions with the best interests of Vertas in mind
- Listens and responds positively to colleagues, customers, and suppliers
- Can adapt to change and thrive in a growing organisation
Experience with Legionella control and fire alarm systems would be desirable but is not essential.
