Listening to our people and making work better
A great place to work isn’t built by simply asking people what they think. It’s built by listening to what they say and using that feedback to make things better.
That’s why thousands of colleagues across Vertas Group took part in our 2026 Your Voice Colleague Engagement Survey, sharing their experiences of working across our teams, services and locations.
This year, 500 more colleagues took part than last year, and the survey recorded an overall engagement score of 90%.
Behind that number are colleagues who told us they feel strongly connected to the work they do. The results highlighted high levels of customer focus, commitment to their roles, loyalty to their services and positive relationships with line managers.
For us, that matters. Our people work in different roles, locations and communities across Vertas Group, but they're connected by the contribution they make every day.
Hearing where we can do better
Your Voice isn't only about celebrating what's working.
It also gives colleagues an opportunity to tell us where their experience could be better – and gives us a clearer picture of where we need to focus our attention.
This year, colleagues told us they want clearer communication when things change, learning and development that feels relevant to their role, benefits that are easier to understand and use, greater recognition for the work they do, and rewards that feel meaningful.
Those messages are helping to shape what happens next.
From feedback to action
Teams across Vertas Group are now looking at their results and identifying the actions that will make the biggest difference to their colleagues.
Over the coming months, we'll continue to share how that feedback is influencing improvements across communication, development, benefits, recognition and the wider colleague experience.
Because listening shouldn't end when a survey closes.
Whether you've been with Vertas for years or you're considering joining us, we want Vertas Group to be a place where people can contribute, develop and know that what they have to say matters.
Your voice helps shape the experience of working here.
